Claremont Police Help Deliver Healthy Baby Girl
Jo'Leigha Diahan Ellis -
Posted on Friday March 16, 2018
Claremont is growing by leaps and bounds every year with new businesses and new citizens. On March 15th, 2018 our Claremont population grew a little bit bigger, by 7lbs. and 3oz. to be exact. We would like to introduce the people of Claremont to Jo`Leigha Diahan Ellis, a beautiful little girl born 03/15/2018 at 11:05 PM.

What makes sweet Jo`Leigha a little more special is that she was born at home without your typical delivery coaches...

Claremont Officers were dispatched to the Ellis’ residence to assist in a call for a "mother in labor". Sgt. Kevin Little and Officer Scott Goff were the first on the scene and Sgt. Little proceeded to assist new dad, Jonas Ellis Jr, with the delivery of his little girl, but let us not forget that mom, Amber Estep, did all the REAL work. The family would like to inform everyone that mother and child are in perfect health and doing great. It’s not every day that Emergency Services get to assist in bringing a life into the world but it will be something our police, Sgt. Little and Officer Goff, will not forget. The family would like to thank everyone for their help and speedy response. Welcome to the world Jo'Leigha!
